Larkfleet Group CEO Karl Hick has been named winner of the Outstanding Entrepreneur Award at the 2015 Global Business Excellence Awards.

The high profile awards attract a wide range of entries from organisations across the world ranging from large international PLCs and public sector organisations to dynamic and innovative small businesses.

“The winners all have one thing in common - they are truly outstanding at what they do and Karl Hick has proved this by winning a Global Business Excellence Award,” said Samuel Horscraft, of the awards team.

Larkfleet Group, based in Bourne has grown into a highly successful group of businesses under Karl’s leadership, all sharing a common philosophy of sustainable development.

Karl started Larkfleet with a staff of three in 1998 and has grown the company into an award-winning housebuilder and community developer, a major developer of sustainable energy projects and provider of energy-efficiency improvements for new and existing buildings.

An independent panel of expert judges selected winners for the Global Business Excellence Awards, focussing on financial results, innovation, customer, employee, investor and community benefits.

Karl said: “I am extremely proud of my achievements with Larkfleet Group and it is a great honour to be recognised in these awards. I plan to channel my expertise and enthusiasm so that the company continues to grow.”
