Maxey brothers and sister end the family paper round from Northborough Village Shop

Two brothers and their sister have finally hung up their paper bag after delivering the papers from Northborough Village shop to Maxey residents for 11 years.

George and Daniel Theobalds shared the round for five years, until George, 26, went to Durham University to study finance and accountancy.

Then, Daniel, 23, went to Sheffield University to read finance and accountancy, and Fenella took over, sharing half the weekday round with neighbours George and Will Shaw.

Now, Fenella, 18, is off to university, to study astrophysics at Nottingham Trent University, and the siblings recall their years of service and the many families they have delivered to and have seen them grow up.

Shopkeepers Sharron and Yogi Maher will also miss the trio.

“To have had continuity and reliable service for so many years has been really good for us. Well done and thank you for your long service. We both wish you all every success in the future."
