Leading choir comes to Stamford

A CHOIR that got to the final of a BBC competition will be performing at a church.

BBC Choir of the Year finalists Kingfisher Chorale will sing at the at Stamford Methodist Church in Barn Hill, on Saturday, October 29.

Four different settings of the Miss Brevis will be performed, including arrangements by Palestrina, Mozart, Kodaly and Britten.

The group was founded in 1992 by David Fisher, and is based in the Midlands.
