Legal firm in Peterborough and Stamford is hoping it can conquer Europe

A legal firm in Peterborough and Stamford is looking to extend its reach into the heart of Europe.

Buckles Solicitors, in Bourges Boulevard, is planning to open offices in Boulevard Haussmann, in Paris, and Via Savona, in Milan, after signing a new deal with Franco-Italian firm CastaldiPartners.

The new “strategic alliance” will also mean the opening of a joint office in Chancery Lane, in London.

Managing partner Colleen Gostick said the move is part of Buckles’ ongoing plan to provide a legal service to clients throughout Europe.

She said: “Buckles is delighted to announce that we have signed a strategic alliance with CastaldiPartners to open joint offices in London, and secure additional locations for us in Paris and Milan.

“The alliance complements our established reputation in Spanish and French law, and builds on the strong relationship we’ve enjoyed with CastaldiPartners for over 15 years.

She added: “Establishing a permanent presence in these key international business centres is part of our ongoing plan to significantly strengthen our ability to assist clients throughout Europe and is something which really sets us apart from the competition.

“There will be significant investment in premises, recruitment and building international relationships.”
