Leicestershire and Rutland gets a new chief fire officer

Steve Lunn has been appointed as the Chief Fire and Rescue Officer for Leicestershire.

Mr Lunn, who has held the role on an interim basis since earlier this month, was appointed at a meeting of the Combined Fire Authority on Wednesday last week.

He said: “I’m ready for any challenges that may come my way whilst I’m Chief Fire and Rescue Officer.”
