A 10-year-old raised more than £500 by holding a fundraising event at her school.

Libby Duffin, a Year 6 pupil at South Witham Primary School, held a raffle and cake sale and encouraged her classmates to wear blue to raise funds for Orchid, the Male Cancer Charity. Libby wrote to 50 businesses across the region and generated 20 raffle prizes.

It’s a cause close to her heart as her mother’s cousin Chris died of testicular cancer two weeks before his 36th birthday in 2012. Libby is pictured far right with friends Jack, Ruby and Jessica.
