Another defibrillator funded by Dosh4Defibs has been installed at Rhino’s Gymnasium in Stamford.

The defibrillator was handed over on Wednesday last week.

National cardiac charity SADS UK said Dannii Vincent, founder of Dosh4Defibs, has “worked tirelessly to raise funds and put lifesaving defibrillators into the community”.

The defibrillator has been sited outside in a metal cabinet so that as well as gym users, it is also available to the public. There are instructions to call 999 for the key code to access it.

Staff working at the gym understand that the earlier defibrillation is administered when a person suffers a cardiac arrest the better chance there is of survival.

East Midlands Ambulance Service will be carrying out lifesaving training.
