Lincolnshire County Council offers Lottery bursaries to learn a trade

THREE heritage skills bursaries are on offer for people in Lincolnshire.

Through the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Skills for the Future scheme, Lincolnshire County Council is giving people the opportunity to apply for heritage skills bursaries in stonemasonry, joinery and lead work.

The council is working in partnership with Lincoln Cathedral and the full-time training placement, which will last for 18 months, takes place at the cathedral.

The closing date to apply is Tuesday, June 12.

Applicants must be available to start work from the start of September and be over the age of 18.
