Lincolnshire county councillor Sue Woolley donates Big Society Fund cash to Toolbar in Bourne
Toolbar, the small local charity, that helps unemployed people in Bourne and the surrounding area, has received a grant of £650 from the Lincolnshire County Council Big Society Fund, through Sue Woolley.
Coun Woolley (Con), who represents Bourne Abbey, said: “I am delighted to be able to support Toolbar in their work with unemployed people, helping them to get back into employment.”
Lead volunteer at Toolbar Roy McKinney said: “We are extremely grateful to have Sue’s support. It enables us to continue not only to help people with their job search, but also to provide a place where they can meet and discuss issues with volunteers and other clients, in a friendly welcoming atmosphere.”
Toolbar meets every Monday (excluding Bank Holidays) at the Bourne Snooker Centre, in Cherry Holt Road, Bourne, from 10.30am to midday. To find out more e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
