A woman who began a lockdown diary to record the changes it had made to her daily routine has published it as a book.

Pauline Crampin and her husband, John, had returned from a trip abroad early in 2020 when news of a virus outbreak in Wuhan in China hit the headlines.

“I knew it was momentous and so I started recording details, such as the first cases and the first death in Britain,” said Pauline, who lives in Carlby.
