Long delays to East Coast trains after fault between Peterborough and Grantham

A signalling problem at Peterborough is causing delays of up to 30 minutes on trains to/from and through the station this morning, Tuesday November 3.

There is no firm estimate yet of how long disruption will last but it is likely to continue until at least 10am.

Great Northern passengers may use Thameslink services via any reasonable routes.

Train operators affected include Abellio Greater Anglia; CrossCountry; East Midlands Trains; Grand Central; Great Northern; Hull Trains; Virgin Trains East Coast;
