Lorry fire in Caldecott

A lorry caught fire in Caldecott this morning (January 11).

A propane cylinder in the lorry exploded as a result of the blaze.

The fire which started around 7.30m has been fully extinguished and firefighters found no excessive temperatures on vehicle.

Police are arranging recovery of vehicle and carrying out traffic control.

A fire crew from Oakham was one of those which attended.
