Year 4 children at Malcolm Sargent Primary School in Stamford hosted a tea party for their elderly relatives and guests of nearby Newcomb Court, as part of their topic on the Queen’s 90th birthday.

The children have been studying Her Majesty’s reign as part of a term topic. In maths, they budgeted for the party, while in English, they prepared stories to read out to their special guests. The school choir also performed and class teacher Hannah Lee said young and old alike had great fun.Photo: David Lowndes
