Man arrested after failing to stop for police in Bourne




A 21-year-old man has been arrested after failing to stop for police in Bourne on Thursday (September 19) evening.

Police officers tried to stop an Audi on South Fen Road as part of a routine stop but the driver made off and stopped the car before running away.

He was arrested after a short foot chase for numerous offences including driving with no insurance, failing to stop, possession with intent to supply a class B drug and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

A 16-year-old female was also arrested at the time and both have been released under investigation.
