LEARN MOREA man who was wanted by police in connection to knifepoint robbery has been arrested.
William Appleyard, 34, was arrested by officers in Kettering yesterday (June 22).
Officers wanted to speak to him about a robbery at S & D Bookmakers at about 4pm on Monday last week (June 13) in Market Deeping.
It was alleged that a man entered the bookmakers holding a knife and asked the cashier to hand over cash before making off from the scene.
An 'unknown quantity' of money was taken.
Appleyard remains in police custody.
