Uppingham man charged with assault to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court

A 37-year-old man is set to appear in court after being charged with assault.

Sam Briggs of Thring Terrace in Uppingham will appear before magistrates charged with two counts of assault.

The charges relate to two incidents which took place in Uppingham in High Street West on April 4 and North Street East on April 8.

Briggs is set to appear before Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (May 12).

A 29-year-old woman was also arrested and will be issued with a community resolution for a public order offence.
