Man in court on drugs charges over Twyford rave

A man has appeared in court charged with possessing drugs with intent to supply them at the time of a rave in Twyford Woods.

Aaron Davies, 31, of Tennyson Avenue, King’s Lynn, gave no plea when he appeared at Grantham Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

He is charged with counts of possessing the class A drug cocaine and class B drug methylmethcathinone, or MMC, both with intent to supply.

The offences are alleged to have taken place at Twyford on May 24. An illegal rave lasting 48-hours was taking place at Twyford Woods at the time.

The case was sent to Lincoln Crown Court. The next hearing will take place on October 12. Mr Davies was granted unconditional bail.
