Man sentenced for assault on police officer in Deeping St James and breaching court order

A man has been jailed after assaulting a police officer.
Matthew Warner, 22, of no fixed address, was sentenced to four months in prison for breaching a court order and assaulting a police officer during an appearance at Lincoln Magistrates Court on Tuesday (May 26).
The assault, which happened on the May 11 at a home in Deeping St James, left the officer with markings and swellings on his neck after he was grabbed round the throat by Warner.
