Man taken to hospital after crash in Deeping St James

A man suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to hospital after a car crash in Deeping St James.

The accident happened in Crowland Road at about 6pm on Friday, November 6. Two cars had crashed and a man in his 50s was trapped.

Fire crews from Market Deeping, Crowland, and Spalding used rapid intervention gear to free the man, who had suffered serious leg injuries. A Magpas air ambulance crew sedated the man before he was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. He was in a serious but stable condition when he arrived, but his current condition is unknown.
