Uppingham man takes on sponsored run for Mind

A 22-year-old will be completing a five kilometre run every day inJanuary to raise funds for a mental health charity.

Joe Bennett, who lives in Uppingham, is looking for a different person to accompany him on each day of the challenge.

He said: “In lockdown it put everyone into a difficult time. I started running towards the middle of September and one day decided I wanted to do something different and push myself with something I’ve never done before.”
