Man treated after he fell off his mobility scooter in Milestone Road, Bourne




A man was treated at the scene after he fell off his mobility scooter in Bourne today (Thursday).

Paramedics dashed out in an ambulance after the shocked man, thought to be local, toppled into a ditch in Milestone Road at 10.41am.

He did not need to go to hospital and received treatment at the roadside, an East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) spokesman said.

She said: "The alarm was raised by a member of the public.

"The incident happened about 400 yards south of McDonald's.

"The man was checked over and treated on the spot and didn't need to go to hospital."
