Man who died after crash in Rutland is named as Lee Eudale

Police have named the man who died following a collision involving two lorries in Rutland on Monday (February 16).

The crash happened at about 3.40pm in Ryhall Road, Little Casterton, at the junction with Salters Lane.

The driver of one of the lorries, a 43-year-old Lee Eudale from Peterborough, was taken to hospital where he later died.

The driver of the second lorry sustained minor injuries.

Ryhall Road was closed for several hours while initial enquiries were conducted and was re-opened this morning,

Anyone who witnessed the collision and has not already spoken to officers, is asked to call DC 4403 Kath Orr on 101.
