Men reported for hare coursing after vehicle found in Haconby

Two men have been reported for hare coursing after police officers found an abandoned 4x4.

The vehicle was discovered in Haconby on Wednesday last week (January 20).

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “It was suspected of being involved in hare coursing and later recovered.

“Two men later attended Bourne police station to report the vehicle as stolen and enquiring as to how to reclaim the vehicle.

“Both men – aged 30 and 51 and from Chester – were reported for hunting wild animals with dogs (hare coursing).”
