Driver threatened in Northgate, Oakham

A delivery driver being threatened by two men has sparked a police appeal.

Police received a report on Saturday (April 9) that a delivery driver had been threatened in Northgate, Oakham.

Two men approached the driver and asked him to hand over cash, but left the area when he explained he did not have any.

Enquiries to identify those responsible are continuing and anyone with information is asked to contact Leicestershire Police on 101 quoting reference 22*205422.
