Model railway exhibition attracts hundreds of enthusiasts
A model railway exhibition that took place at the weekend in Stamford attracted more than 350 local enthusiasts.
The event was held at the Stamford Welland Academy with the aim of promoting and raising money for the Market Deeping Model Railway Club.
Club chairman Colin Brown said: "We had members from other clubs with their layouts in addition to our own and more than 350 people visited us.
"A lot of the layouts had never been there before. One of the most interesting was based on the Tallington cement works.
"Overall it was a really successful day and we were able to make some money for the club."
