Monthly surgery in Uppingham will make it easier to talk to councillors

A monthly surgery to make it easier for Uppingham residents to meet and talk to their county council and town council representatives will start on Saturday, April 30.

The surgery will run from 10am to 11am at the Town Hall in Uppingham, when one county councillor and one town councillor will be on hand to answer any questions and try to help solve problems.

County councillors Marx Oxley, Rachell Burkitt and Lucy Stephenson, and three town councillors Dave Casewell, Alec Crombie and Miranda Jones, will be taking part on a rota basis.

If successful, it could be expanded to be fortnightly.

For more information contact Coun Marc Oxley on 01572 822334.
