Latest number of coronavirus cases and deaths in South Kesteven and Rutland
Two more people from South Kesteven have died from coronavirus according to the latest Public Health England figures.
Released last night (Tuesday, November 17), the figures show the number of deaths in South Kesteven had risen to 64, from 62 the previous day.
These figures reflect the number of people who died within 28 days of having had a positive Covid-19 test and are across the whole of the pandemic.
The number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 during the whole pandemic stands at 1,906 in South Kesteven and 413 in Rutland.
In the last seven days, there have been 55 people testing positive in Rutland - a rate of 137.8 in 100,000 people, and in South Kesteven, there have been 331, a rate of 232.1 in 100,000 people.
Figures released last night by Public Health England for the number of deaths and cases reported to them by November 17 in Rutland and South Kesteven were altered by the Government today (November 18). This article has been updated since it was first published to reflect this amendment.
