Motorcyclist from Bourne was killed in crash on M62




The man who died after a road traffic collision on the M62 in West Yorkshire on Wednesday, May 8, has been named as a Bourne man.

Shay O'Connell, 50, was involved in the road traffic collision at junction 24 of the eastbound carriageway of the M62.

Mr O'Connell was from the Bourne area.

The crash happened at 1am on Wednesday, May 8, and involved Mr O'Connell's motorcycle and a stationary vehicle.

Officers were called to the exit slip road of the M62 eastbound carriageway at junction 24 at 1am this morning following a collision involving a motorcyclist and a stationary vehicle.
