Accident at A606 Whissendine and Cold Overton Lane, Rutland: motorcyclist injured and taken to Queen's Medical Centre




A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on the junction of the A606 Whissendine and Cold Overton Lane in Rutland yesterday (May 14).

Emergency services were called just before 2pm following the collision which also involved a car.

The motorbike rider was taken to Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham for treatment.

The road junction was closed for just over four hours while police investigated, reopening shortly after 6pm.
