MP Alan Duncan set to open Lyddington Village Fete

Rutland MP Alan Duncan is set to open a village’s annual fete.

Lyddington Village Fete takes place on Saturday, May 18, starting at 1.30pm.

The event will be packed full of activities for all the family. Stalls will include plants, jams, cakes, bric-a-brac, tombola and books, as well as a dog obedience demonstration.

There will be live music from Gretton Silver Band and vintage cars and bikes on display.

Members of Corby Town Football Club will be on hand to provide sports activity challenges and fitness exercises and subject to the weather, there will also be a Lancaster bomber fly over.
