Multi-instrumental troubadours, Pennyless will give a concert at St Firmin’s Church in Thurlby on Saturday, May 11.

Penny Stevens, Les Woods, Graham Dale and Colin Benton combine mystical songs from folklore with roof-raisers from Irish, European and American roots tradition and original material.

The band will be launching their new CD, Strange Dreams at this event. The album explores lyrical verse with searching, wistful yearning and wild untamed love.

The doors will be open from 7pm and tickets cost £10 from 01778 424629.
