Langtoft to host its first music festival for 20 years




Langtoft is holding its first Music Festival for 20 years on Saturday, July 13 and as a special prequel to the main event, Between You and Me will take place tonight (July 12).

Enjoy a hilarious night of words, music and comedy with poet, broadcaster and comedian Ian McMillan and Olympic composer Luke Carver Goss.

Bard of Barnsley Ian McMillan hosts weekly hit radio show The Verb. He is Poet-in-Residence for Barnsley FC, the Academy of Urbanism and until recently, English National Opera.

Luke Carver Goss has recorded and performed with his own group, Carver Trio as well as The Ian McMillan Orchestra, Tea Hodzic, Tina May and Daniel Morden in the group The Devil’s Violin.

The show starts at 7.30pm on the sports pavilion field in Langtoft.
