A151 West Road was closed by spilled drum of red fluid




A 10-litre drum of red liquid spilled in West Road, Bourne on Monday, causing the carriageway to be partially closed.

The drum, which was printed with warning markings, was leaking into a drain.

Police, firefighters and the Environment Agency were involved in making sure the area was safe.

Report suspected hazardous pollutants immediately to the Environment Agency emergency hotline on 0800 80 70 60 and call 999 if you think it might cause harm to life.
