Rutland photographer, Amanda Forman, is ‘qualified’ member of the Guild of Photographers
A Rutland photographer has achieved the distinction of becoming a ‘qualified’ member of the Guild of Photographers.
The national photographic body inducts members who are committed to achieving the highest standards of professionalism for the benefit of their customers.
Amanda Forman, who lives in Barleythorpe, has been recognised for her portfolio of family photography.
She said: “I am delighted to have achieved this recognition, seeing it as a result of many years’ experience and hard work as well as a reflection of my commitment to delivering the very best service to all my customers."
Becoming ‘qualified’ with the Guild involves a rigorous assessment process, and Amanda, through her business Amanda Forman Photography is now one of only 350 people in the country to have achieved it.
Steven and Lesley Thirsk, directors of the Guild, said: “We are delighted that Amanda has achieved Qualified status.
"The Guild has very demanding standards, so this achievement reflects Amanda’s commitment to her photography, as well as her ability.
"The judging is undertaken by a panel of industry experts from a variety of photography backgrounds, so Amanda should be very proud of this recognition."
As well as family portraits she offers commercial, wedding and pet photography and is currently booking for bluebell micro photoshoots for families based in the area for £65. They will take place in Barnsdale Wood at the beginning of May.
