Vaccines were stolen from a car in Oakham yesterday (Tuesday, March 22).

A health worker reported that a box containing adrenaline and Hepatitis B vaccines, as well as needles and syringes, had been stolen from a vehicle in Lands' End Way. It happened at about 4.15pm.

Adrenaline should only be given by a medical professional and if it is taken by a person with a normal heart rate, death can occur without medical intervention.
