Needles and syringes stolen from car in Oakham

LEARN MOREVaccines were stolen from a car in Oakham yesterday (Tuesday, March 22).
A health worker reported that a box containing adrenaline and Hepatitis B vaccines, as well as needles and syringes, had been stolen from a vehicle in Lands' End Way. It happened at about 4.15pm.
Adrenaline should only be given by a medical professional and if it is taken by a person with a normal heart rate, death can occur without medical intervention.
Anyone who has seen the equipment discarded in the Oakham area or has information regarding the theft is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 396 of March 22.
