A new business club launched in Stamford on Tuesday.

Following the decision to merge the Stamford Chamber of Commerce with the Peterborough branch, businesses locally decided to go it on their own.

The networking event on Tuesday night at the William Cecil Hotel was the first event of Stamford Business Club and attracted nearly 100 guests, including former chamber chairman Richard Olsen, of marketing firm Olsen Metrix.
