English Martyrs Catholic Voluntary Academy in Oakham gets go-ahead to build new classroom

A primary school has been given the green light to build a new classroom which is set to help boost its admission numbers.

A development for a classroom at English Martyrs Catholic Voluntary Academy in Oakham will begin at the school during its summer holidays and is due to be completed before the end of the year.

Head teacher, Alison Chambers, said: “This will mean we can have single year groups across the school and slightly increase our planned admission numbers to allow our amazing school community to grow whilst still retaining class sizes under 30 at the moment.
