Conservative councillor to join South Kesteven District Council following by-election
A new councillor will join South Kesteven District Council, after coming out on top at a by-election held yesterday (May 6).
Penny Robins (Con) was up against Paul Richardson (Lab) at the by-election, after a seat became available for the Glen Ward.
However, it was Coun Robins who secured the majority of votes earning her a seat on the Conservative-led council.
She said: "I'm delighted to be elected to represent the Glen Ward and I would like to thank everybody for voting for me.
"As I said in my manifesto - local issues for local people.
"I'm going to bring a fresh outlook and work hard for the people that got me here electorally to give them the very best."
