A national-level cycle race is to be held in memory of a well-loved ‘Bourne Wheeler’.

Tim James, who was tipped to compete alongside the world’s elite, died from a rare cancer in May last year. He was aged only 23.

Now his former cycle clubmates at Bourne Wheelers want to put on a special event for cyclists that will provide a vibrant memorial to the young man’s life and achievements.
