Rutland County Council publishes a draft waste management and street scene strategy and a public consultation is being held
Rutland County Council has published a number of ambitions for “a clean, green and sustainable county.”
They are included within the draft waste management and streetscene strategy and the council is asking for residents' views and businesses on this.
The ambitions include:
- To maximise the quality and quantity of reuse and recycling.
- To reduce the production of waste.
- To build communities where excess waste and litter are socially unacceptable.
The consultation runs until Friday April 3 and can be accessed by visiting www.rutland.gov.uk and also from any Rutland Library and the mobile library.
