New headmaster joins Witham Hall School as previous head leaves to go to Uppingham School

A new headmaster and his family have joined Witham Hall School .

William Austen joined Witham Hall School as headmaster at the start of the academic year, having previously held the position of deputy headmaster at Ludgrove School.

Having studied chemistry at the University of St Andrews, Mr Austen followed his equestrian passion to become an assistant trainer at a yard in the Cotswolds. There he got an opportunity to join Summer Fields School where he eventually went on to run the boarding house with his wife Jossie.
