Caroline Wood is appointed matron of Stamford and Rutland Hospital and replaces Sue Brooks

Stamford Hospital has a new matron it has been announced today (July 18).

Caroline Wood has replaced Sue Brooks who retired in May.

Jo Bennis, chief nurse, said: “I would like to welcome Caroline to her new post and look forward to seeing her working with her Stamford colleagues to maintain care quality and trust values.”

Caroline has previously been a practitioner within the infection control team and will start on Monday, July 29.
