A new outdoor learning area has been opened at Linchfield Primary School in Deeping St James.

Year 6 teacher Scott Reeve said: “The school had an outdoor learning area which had become overgrown so we spoke to Friends of Linchfield to try and get fundraising and donations to restore the area to a useful learning area.”

Money was raised through the Friends and also the Rotary Club of the Deepings, which donated towards the cost, and pupils and local firm Deep In Garden helped restore the pond.

Mr Reeves added: “It has now been redeveloped as a great learning resource for the pupils.”
