The girls at Oakham Rugby Club were excited to be presented with their new team shirts.

The Mayor of Oakham Alf Dewis made the presentationon behalf of the Oakham Town Council and the Lions Club of Rutland; both of whom sponsored the kit watched by chairman Simon Harries, immediate past president Keith Crellin, director of rugby Andy Williamson and first team coach Tim Andrews.

There are currently 12 girls training on Wednesdays at 7pm and Sundays at midday, coached by Laura Foster and managed by Jon Foster.Photo: Andy Balmford
