Twyford Woods rave accounts for a quarter of lockdown fines issued in Grantham - while Stamford and Bourne police report zero fines

A group of people who were drag racing in Twyford Woods recently account for more than a quarter of lockdown fines issued in the Grantham area.

Grantham has seen the most fines issued across Lincolnshire for breaching the coronavirus lockdown at 29; while Stamford, Bourne and the Deepings as of yesterday had no fines against their figures

A police spokesperson confirmed eight of those were handed to rule-breakers who travelled to Twyford Woods from Bedfordshire to race quad bikes, or watch, earlier this month.
