Nursery manager from The Ark Association in Oakham retires after 26 years

A nursery manager is retiring after working there for more than two decades.

Mary Darlington has worked at The Ark Association in Oakham for 26 years, in which time she has worked with hundreds of children.

Mary said: “It has been an absolute pleasure and privilege to care for so many children over 26 years and to see the amazing young people they have become.

“I am so proud of my Ark family who work tirelessly, ensuring The Ark Association continues to provide the best experience for every child.

“I will miss you all.”

The Ark Association operates two nurseries, one on Princess Avenue and at the Oakham CE Primary school in Burley Road.

Both sites are registered with Ofsted early years and have a range of qualified staff ranging from level two to level six.
