Oakham and Barleythorpe residents to receive information packs on neighbourhood plan

Every home and business in Oakham and Barleythorpe is to receive an information pack on the development of a Neighbourhood Plan.

Oakham Town Council is responsible for facilitating the plan’s development and Rutland County Council is supporting it, but the plan belongs to the people of Oakham and Barleythorpe.

The pack is designed to help local residents to start thinking about how they would like to see Oakham and Barleythorpe’s environment develop and explains how they can share their views.

A number of events are planned to keep residents up to date. The first is on Saturday, October 22, at Tesco, Oakham between 9am and 3pm.
