A group of women have organised a charity party to raise money for three cancer charities.

Sarah Kearney, Alison Crowden, Madeline Allman, Nikki Loomes and Anya Loomes will host A Night to Remember at Victoria Hall in Oakham on Saturday, February 7.

The women have taken on the task of raising money for The Hope Foundation, Loros and Coping with Cancer, which are all based locally. The organisers hope people and businesses will support the event by buying tickets and offering sponsorship.

Alison Crowden said: “A Night to Remember is an opportunity for the community to help support those families affected by this awful disease.”

The evening will start at 7.30pm with a sparkling drinks reception, followed by cheese and wine supper, an auction of promises, raffle and disco. Tickets are £25. Call Nikki Loomes on 07947513346 to book tickets.
