The funeral service for Barbara McIntyre, took place at Kettering Crematorium, followed by a service of thanksgiving at All Saints’ Church, Oakham, the Rev Brian McAvoy officiating.
Donations of £344 were made to Glenfield Hospital Charity.
Mrs McIntyre, of Cheviot Close, Oakham, died at Glenfield Hospital, Leicestershire, aged 78.
She was the daughter of George and Louisa Durant, and was educated at the Vale of Catmose College, Oakham.
A cook, her hobbies included cross stitch, knitting and gardening.
Bereaved are her widower Charles, who she had been married to for nearly 58 years, sons Rod and Andrew and daughter Eleanor.
