Jean Warner

THE funeral of company director Jean Warner, 72, of Little Bytham, took place at Bourne Abbey Church, the Rev Peter Lister officiating. Cremation at Marholm followed.

Daughter of Albert and Irene Parkinson, she was educated at Blairgowrie School, Scotland and Holly Lodge Girls College, Liverpool.

From 1963 to 1990, together with her late husband Michael, she built up the successful printing and publication businesses of Warners Midlands Plc and Warners Group Publications Plc.

She enjoyed travelling, especially cruises and working on crosswords and Sudoku, and was also an animal lover and adored her cats. After retiring she spent much of her time enjoying her home and garden.

Bereaved are her sons Stephen, Philip and Richard.
